In view of the long and acrimonious process that has been associated in approving a small development of Affordable Homes in the village, the Parish Council is disappointed that they have not received any response to their request in the July Bulletin asking for anyone interested in being considered for one of these homes to make contact with the clerk.  It needs to be understood that if there are no villagers or families that meet the Village Connection criteria, then the properties will be firstly offered to families within a 5 mile radius of Hannington then ultimately anyone in the Daventry District that is in need of housing. We are sure you will agree this situation was not the intention of the original Housing Needs Survey which was carried out some 3 years ago.
