Unfortunately the service has not got off to a good start.  Leaflets were late turning up advising residents on the new collection day – WEDNESDAY. There are changes to what is required to go in each bin and now include:

 red boxes -   tetrapak cartons, cardboard and shredded paper 

 blue boxes -  mixed plastics (eg margarine tubs), batteries (bagged), foil and spectacles

The brown bins should only contain garden waste, flowers and plants.
